3 April
We braved the cold weather last Saturday and took Bradyn to his first adventure park near London, Legoland. He of course was far too short to ride the roller coasters, but we saw a Star Wars exhibit all made of legos, rode an underwater submarine ride with glass bottoms to view fish and sharks, then of course tested out the Legos.

Later that day we drove to the nearest shopping centre and decided to stop and feed the ducks nearby, followed by pigeons and then sea gulls and then even more pigeons! Soon after it started to snow. (yes snow) So we made our way to the nearest pub, which thankfully allowed us to bring B in.

The birds went crazy for Goldfish! |
We read several reviews online about local restaurants for my birthday meal and stumbled upon this quaint pub just a mile from our hotel. Our meal was homemade with organic produce. I had a steak and mushroom pie with mixed vegetables and new potatoes. Darren of course stuck with his bacon cheeseburger and chips, but he gave it two thumbs up and that's rare for a burger in England. The pub owners loved having Bradyn around and even dropped us off at our hotel at the end of the night free of charge. Needless to say, we will definitely be back when family and friends visit!

And because my birthday was so close to Easter, some pictures of B and his basket from Grandma Rachel. Happy Spring!
