Another lazy Sunday afternoon at the Page's. Seems  like the perfect time for a new blog post to catch everyone up whilst Darren is at work. ( I so enjoy trying to sound British and throw in "whilst" whenever possible).

Darren made it back from Sardinia on February 9-1 week late. He got into a tiny bit of trouble.  The butt chewing and letter of reprimand (aka LOR) he received for allowing a lower ranking airman to DD (lame I know) is small potatoes compared to what he has accomplished in the last 4 or 5 months.

So let's focus on the positives shall we!?

Darren won not one, but TWO "Big Boy" awards!

Armament System Supervisor of the Quarter

USAFE Supervisor of the Quarter
(sorry no trophy yet)

This means he won best supervisor out of all the supervisors stationed in Europe! He is now being nominated for supervisor of the year! Can you believe it?! GO DARREN!

So proud of my hubby for working hard and receiving these awards after only 10 months on the job! He has made a name for himself in the 48th AMXS!

For those of you who aren't AF acronym savy either, AMXS means Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. Here is a link to what Darren's squadron does over here in Europe!

Me-I'm loving my job and the new friends I have met here. Yesterday Marysol, Jenn (teacher friends) and I treated ourselves to a much needed head to hoof package! A massage/facial/mani/pedi! AAAHHH! Thank you, Lilly!

Ooh, La La!

My new do! Sam, my cute British hair stylist, did a phenomenal job on the cut. There's just something about a good haircut. It makes the worst of days (or weeks in my case) seem so much better!   I think I spent the better half of Saturday pretending I was Eva Longoria in a L'Oreal Paris hair commercial. "Because I'm worth it!" LOL!

My school kids came in this morning and couldn't get over how straight it was.  Boy, what a difference a little flat ironing makes!

Darren is still in Sardinia because they had to swap out an engine in one of the jets. Hopefully he's back tomorrow! I miss him. A little.
