On Saturday I took Bradyn Easter egg hunting near our house. Well, it wasn't much of a hunt, as you can see. It was an easy egg find. Bradyn was beyond excited!
And I decided after it was all said and done, we have a love hate relationship with all things Easter bunny. As soon as we saw all the eggs scattered around the playground, Bradyn couldn't wait to get inside. The line of course was a mile long and we had to wait for 20 minutes before we could actually grab any eggs. Toddlers do NOT understand waiting.
When we saw the Easter bunny from far away Bradyn was just fine, but as soon as we got close enough for a picture, he couldn't be anywhere near that rabbit. Luckily I was able to manage a cute picture. His favorite chocolate is the large Cadbury egg, but when I opened it for him, he threw a tantrum. In front of God AND the Easter bunny. So we quickly made a "B" line for the door.
I liked Easter so much better when we were at home and this was all he knew. I was exhausted and we were only gone 2 hours!
Thanks, Grandma Rachel for the bucket full of treats, book and bunny. Bradyn loved it all and you made this holiday so much better. We miss you dearly!
