Spring is Here!

65 degrees, sunshine and not a cloud in the sky. We jumped in the car, opened up the sunroof and drove to the duck pond on base. Bradyn had such a great time watching the ducks and throwing sticks into the pond. We have to enjoy every minute of days like this because they don't happen often. Usually the rain ruins our fun. Not this day. On this day we stayed outside for a few hours...... and THEN..... we took a nap. The sun wiped us out! haha!

A Day at the Dentist

How to ensure a successful trip at the dentist office. 

 1. Give your child some books to read and let him try to operate the drinking fountain on his own. 

 

  2. Once in the room, give him a cool smock and some star-shaped sunglasses to wear so he'll sit still. 

 3. Make sure to practice saying "ahhh" at least a dozen times. This is especially helpful if your child does not want to sit in the chair for very long.

4. Wait for the dentist to come and examine the teeth thoroughly and tell wait 30 minutes before you eat.

5.  30 minutes later, give yourself a treat because that hour seemed like three! With any luck you'll be like Braydn and be cavity free!
