Hi, all! Just a follow up to my other post about Darren serving in Aviano, Italy. There are some links on the Aviano Air Force Base website to videos of men and women setting up tents on the football field and bringing in cots.Also you will see several pictures of the jets and what's happening on base, including this one. It sort of gives you an idea of what the living facilities are like for them right now.
I booked a ticket just now to go see Darren on my spring break April 9-17! A birthday gift to myself I guess. :D
Now I just need to find a place to stay since lodging on base is probably maxed out! Darren says he has Sundays and Mondays off, so hopefully we can spend some QT together. He's doing well and things seem to be slowing down some.
